Ron is a Kansas City native who began his career with the national audit, assurance, advisory and tax firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. From there, Ron served as the Chief Financial Officer of a national mortgage bank focused on buying mortgage banks on a nationwide basis. In 2015, Ron co-founded a Kansas City-based multi-specialty medical practice where he served as CEO and led the acquisition of medical practices, surgery centers and other ancillary businesses. After growing that practice from seven physicians to more than 30 physicians, Ron sold his interest and founded Thompson River Advisory so that he could focus on helping physicians transition their practices, Ron lives in Parkville with his wife and two Chow Chows, volunteers transporting rescue dogs and is convinced that the best barbecue in the country can be found at Gates.
